I am an experienced Finance Professional working in Businesses (Public Relations, Publishing & Media Advertising) for over 20 years.  Before this, I started my working life as a Hotel Receptionist which actually involves a lot more accounting and reconciliation work than a lot of people realise and it was this that made me make the switch to the back office and become a Hotel Accounts Controller and so began my journey with numbers. 

I was always one of the weird kids at school that classed Maths as their favourite subject in school (even though it did include the curveball otherwise known as Trigonometry!), so when in 2007 I was encouraged to take the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification that love of numbers outweighed the fear of returning to study and exams.  I qualified and gained my letters in 2010 and went on to study and qualify with the ACCA (Association of Chartered & Certified Accountants).

As an AAT Licenced Bookkeeper, I started AccountIt-4U, to help self-employed creative freelancers, sole-traders and small business owners to manage their accounting needs and prepare their annual tax reports. 

I work from my home, but with the aid of technology (telephone, video calls or email), I can keep in touch to support you and your business.
